Hi, I’m Jake! Mr Hampton. The heart and soul behind the lens.

I’m a passionate wedding and family Photographer based in the North West of the UK.

At home is my gorgeous wife, who I married in May of 2022. I learnt a lot about what is important at a wedding. I have been in front of the camera too!
We had our first adorable little boy in Autumn of 2024. And to complete our small family is our mischievous orange cat.

Family is at the core of everything I do. Growing up as the oldest of eight children, my childhood was a whirlwind of chaos, laughter, love and unforgettable adventures. Those memories – the ones you wish you could bottle up and hold onto forever – are the kind I aim to capture for you. Whether it’s the joy and excitement of your wedding day, or the intimate, playful connection of your family, my goal is to freeze-frame those precious moments through timeless, natural imagery.

Photography has always been a big part of my life ever since my mum handed me a camera to have a play around with at the age of just 10. I pretty much haven’t put it down since! I then studied photography in College to a BTEC level. I developed a love for the fine art side of photography. Creating beautiful story-telling images in a very creative and conceptual way.  I never went through University because I just wanted to take photographs, not write about them. Life eventually took me to working in Warrington as a studio family photographer for 4 years.

I’m a bit of a wanderer; I love exploring the beauty of the world and finding new places. My bucket list is very long! I love landscape photography so I am always documenting places me and my wife visit. We’ve been to Amalfi Coast, Santorini, Mexico, Tenerife, just to name a few. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me with a frying pan or wok. I love cooking and my creative side doesn’t get lost in the kitchen either. I am constantly trying new dishes and combining flavours. If my wife sends me an Instagram reel of a meal she fancies, you bet I’m heading out to get the ingredients and cooking it the next day! My favourite cuisine would be Italian hands down, pasta just never fails! East Asian food is a close second.
